YOUTH FAITH FORMATION
Catholics are called to grow continually in faith, learning to follow Christ more closely and to live as His disciples in the world. Through our Youth Formation programs, we accompany young people as they deepen their relationship with God, discover the beauty of our Catholic faith, and learn to live it with confidence and joy. At Holy Trinity, we are blessed to walk with our youth from childhood through adolescence, nurturing hearts rooted in Christ and forming missionary disciples in our elementary, middle school, and high school ministries.

ELEMENTARY FORMATION
2ND - 5TH GRADES
Receiving the Sacraments
According to the Restored Order, baptized Catholic children will typically begin preparation for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion in the second grade. A minimum of 2 years of Faith Formation classes must be completed prior to receiving the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion. First Reconciliation is done in the first year.
If your child is receiving Confirmation and/or First Holy Communion at Holy Trinity, the parent or guardian must attend classes year-round and attend one retreat per year.
Holy Trinity offers classes for 2nd through 5th-grade (Elementary) children on Monday evenings from 6:15 – 7:45 PM.
Soldiers of Mary
3rd-5th-grade children who have already received their Sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation are invited to our weekly Soldiers of Mary group. The group consists of fellowship and additional formation on Mondays 6:15-7:45 PM. Registration is open year-round and costs $50 per year.
Baptism for children 7-17 yrs old
Non-baptized children 7–17 years of age, or children baptized in a non-Catholic church, must complete the Order of Christian Initiation of Children (OCIC) which requires two years of preparation.
MIDDLE SCHOOL FORMATION
6TH - 8TH GRADES
Receiving the Sacraments
Classes are on Tuesday evenings from 6:15 – 7:45 PM in the Youth Center (the parish office). A minimum of 2 years of Faith Formation classes must be completed prior to receiving the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion. First Reconciliation is done in the first year.
For 2nd-year Religious Education registration, we will need a copy of the student’s baptism certificate. If the student is not baptized when he/she is registered for the 2nd year, we will need his/her birth certificate.
Soldiers of Christ
We invite 6th-8th graders who have already received First Holy Communion and Confirmation to join us for continued formation and fellowship on Tuesdays 6:15-7:45 PM. Registration is open year-round and costs $50 per year.
HIGH SCHOOL FORMATION
9TH - 12TH GRADES
Young Disciple
